Fast recovery is possible with minimally invasive surgery

In the last two weeks of December 2013, 10 local newspapers in and around Antalya covered statements by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mutlu Ateş of Antalya Memorial Hospital's Department of Urology about minimally invasive (laparoscopic) urological surgery.

The stories highlighted points such as the abdominal muscles not being cut in the laparoscopic technique, less pain after surgery, high-resolution camera imaging, reduced cosmetic concerns, and the ability to preserve nerves in narrow spaces.
